Clare Ruby

Clare is a Practitioner in Consulting and Change Management, and a member of Blendology’s Advisory Board. Clare cut her teeth working on the Royal Society of Chemistry’s annual conference. Since then she’s worked on countless events and with people from all walks of life, including Ministers, Prime Ministers and royalty, and lead all sorts of events from the largest B2B broadcast event in Europe (52,000 people) to the smallest bespoke events with high profile funders in exclusive venues. She particularly enjoys helping to shape an event so that it complements and enhances business objectives, and leaves people talking about the event long after it’s finished (for all the right reasons).

Forged in the iron crucible of the London School of Economics and Political Science, Clare not only plays a mean game of ping pong she is a champion swimmer, and is to be spotted in London’s various Lidos in her spare time.


James is the web wizard behind our site and the guy we speak to when one of our events needs a space online. Mostly to be found in darkened rooms or coffee shops, he likes nothing more than burying his head in site creation and loves the challenge that comes with trying to interpret our demands. So far he’s not had a breakdown working with us so we must be doing something right!

When he’s not in front of his computer he enjoys leaving tech behind and wandering up and down mountains


Jamie is an outgoing event professional who specialises in exhibitions, logistics, and health and safety. A big believer in ‘all things are possible’, Jamie revels in the challenge of making things work, enjoying the focus of the minutiae but also the success of the event as a whole. Applying the same principles to any event, irrespective of the size.

Jamie has worked for a number of associations and membership organisations across a range of events. His experience has been honed across a number of industries including adventure travel, finance, public sector and the NHS. He specialises in floorplan design, feature area creation, event H&S, logistics management, exhibitor/contractor management and venue liaison.

When not working in an exhibition hall or venue, Jamie loves the great outdoors. He is often wild camping on a mountain Bike packing off road, kayak fishing or exploring through a ‘microadventure’.


Paul is the creative director behind some of the world’s biggest brands.

Equally at home with B2B he has helped shape the communication strategies for Ascential’s Retail Week, Sky TV, Virgin, British Airways and Coca Cola. He has developed projects worldwide for OK magazine, TV Guide, Star and The National Enquirer in the States to The Sun, The Mail On Sunday, The NME and Q in the UK. He has the talent to see the potential for any situation and how best to capitalise it effectively.

He also makes a great classic margarita.

Sophie Morgan

Sophie’s credentials as an event professional have been forged through the various high level, worldwide events she has lead and shaped for more than fourteen years. Primarily her experience lies in the health, media and broadcast industries. Sophie has impeccable project and programme management skills and although she engages with the bigger events picture, she revels in the detail too. Sophie loves to lead a team through the events she works on and loves the challenge that new opportunities bring. She has an eye for new and interesting concepts that can add that extra something special to an event, and will work with people to see how it can be done. She has a reputation for high quality delivery on every event she has managed.

Before founding RubyBlosse Sophie was an ocean explorer, twice surviving the infamous Bermuda Triangle. She now enjoys exploring Wales’ hidden gems where she lives with her family and when the sun shines(!) she takes every opportunity to head off on adventures.
